Also in this game. Don't use TV speakers. Use headphones/earphones whatever. Audio footsteps is so important in this game for enemy tracking.
In game FOV is to your taste. Balance between seeing "more" left and right in wider view or smaller cone view to see pixels at distance further for sniping/spotting.

Besides using game mode - as a general rule, turn off anything that's supposed to "enhance" the graphics, unless it's something designed for gaming, like Benq's black equalizer. Basically, anything that makes things look "smoother" will cause some lag.
@PeterN_UK regarding FOV: Just so! The only general rule I'd suggest for FOV is "not lower than 90." To list just one variable, your eyesight can determine what is a practical max FOV. I couldn't play on 110, I wouldn't be able to see much of anyone over 100M away. But obviously it works for lots of players. YMMV. I think that pro player "Turret" Rambeau played on 70 FOV (in addition to 2-2 sense!!) for a long time?
