I think Razer Synapse software got me banned
Recently I went on PC with controller because I got a new PC last month on Christmas. I made my account on PS4 so I've been playing controller since then and still do right now even though I'm on PC....

@Veilfreyja_OnPS4 You’ll get a mail basically saying that they investigated the matter and determined they deduced correctly and that your acc will stay banned
I made an appeal on why I got banned to them a few days ago. This is what I was given.

We noticed that your EA account broke EA’s gameplay rules.
Because your account was cheating, we’ve permanently blocked your access to Apex Legends’ online features.

Yet, I'm on a new account doing the same thing using a controller on PC, having to go to Task Manager to delete "Lighting Service(32)" otherwise the game will crash for "violation of a software". And everything seems to be fine. I have the 4k damage badge with Bangalore (18 kills rip) with the new account and my name is "Bannd4Being2Good".
So far, nothing has happened to that account and I'm still currently playing the game just fine. Level 27 right now, even though Apex Tracker shows me at level 8.
I just re-read that email and I think Razer's mouse RGB program called "Razer Synapse" got me banned because of LightingService(32 bit) that crashes the game. And so the EAC thinks I'm trying to use a 3rd party software tool to cheat in the game... Do you think that could be the root cause of it all? Seems more plausible. Every time I open the game, I keep forgetting to delete it. So the game crashes, I delete LightingService (32 bit) and reopen the game. Then, I'm able to play perfectly fine.
Could that really be the case tho? Easy Anti Cheat has a whitelist for allowed software that their algorithms can identify and do not trigger any flags made against an account.
I'm having a hard time imagining that Razer Synapse is not whitelisted since this software has been around for many years now.
I doubt using a Razer Naga is considered cheating.
16 kills in a game? thats how many teams? 16/3 = 5 teams
i dont run into 5 teams in a match that often and i don't single evenhandedly kill every one of those 5 teams by myself. i mean chee, why not 7 teams? oh yeah you said you killed 22 one time which is 7 teams. lol. and your not cheating why not show us some videos of these feats on youtube...
where did all those bullets come from to kill 5 teams when they're so close to each other...even 7 teams... 1 person takes 2 clips, so 22 people is 44 clips, how did you get your hands on 44 clips...
the problem is a hacker can kill me in less than a clip.
- @gg123xyz 16 kills is not cheating, they go to hot drop areas and hang around choke points on the map. They also push every fight they see and hear.
You suggested that downing someone with 2 clips is cheating.. not really, i’ve downed entire squads with one purple clip on a devotion. I frequently down players with one clip from an R-301, R-99, flatline or prowler.
If you need more than 1 clip to down someone you need to spend some time i. The firing range with your buddies.
It is the razer app, battleye anti-cheat will not work with the razer apps i need. i have a gaming key pad i got for chrismas, razer brand, tried dayz and arma 3 with it battleye won't start the game untill it was uninstalled. figured apex did the same but banned me instead of kick me off when logging on. I know it is too because i know i didint do anything, had other issues with other games anti cheat and the dates match up. i got the key pad dec24th, i get banned dec 30th. I know my keyboard and mouse config. software run fine but most anti-cheat software my games use don't like razer apps. i came to pc from ps4 and the transfer was heart breaking, losing every thing. Coming back i put 10$ in for mirage so im not off to a bad start, banned few weeks later after chrismas. Not saying paying should make you unbanable, but should show loyalty and support for the game. Id like to say if my appeal does not come through there is no investigation what so ever when it comes to cheating, the entire system is just the anti-cheat software assuming.

Don`t talk things that are nonsenses.
Its not Razer software.
I got Razer Synapse for all of my devices, mouse, headphones and keyboard, as well as chroma and other stuff.
I get custom lightnings and so on for the RGB, as well as leaving only 1 DPI, cause i accidentally click and i don`t need only 1 DPI anyway.
He may very well be cheating, so do you think he will come here and admit that he cheated? Did you really think that?
He may have macros/scripts, no recoil stuff or playing Mouse and Keyboard and lying the system he is using controller, to get the aim assist.
Or he may use Cronus or SP or whatever other cheats there is for controllers.
To be banned, they definitely detect something, and believe me its not the Razer software programs.
DarthValtrex, you dont get good overnight, as well as you are not fixing your aim for like a week or two. This stuff may(i don`t know) on controller, but its not how its done on mouse/keyboard. As well as the recoil control.

@Shotgunjake21Well ya, you can create macros with it and do things with it that violate the TOS. So it's easy to understand why that would create problems for you..
I can understand the 0 tolerance policy for it as well. Cheating is absolutely horrible for a games player retention. It negatively impacts the player population and it also negatively impacts the amount of time people play.
When you're an honest player and get destroyed by someone cheating it ruins the fun/game for you. It's really frustrating in games like this because it can be difficult to win rounds and have good rounds. Imagine struggling all night, finally have a good round going and you get destroyed by someone who's cheating?- @DarthValtrex It's not the Razer Synapse software. I have it and run without issues. Also, Razer is not the only mouse software to support macros, there are a ton of them, if EAC would ban such software half of the PC players would disappear overnight. Also, since EAC starts right before the game, I think it would just prevent the game from running if it detects something suspicious instead of issuing a ban.
Maybe the OP tried a certain macro or used something else like altered or beta drivers or other third party software that enhances mouse movement.
