Yea his Ultimate as offensive only works well when coordinated with team mates, otherwise useless after 10 secs when enemies just heal up again.
Maybe let him turn his ultimate into a static dropped EMP proximity mine that cannot be recalled, so he can still keep character control to escape and let the mine automatically set off on enemy closing in.
Shooting the mine will set it off early, but the the duration of explosion still gives Crypto few more secs to run away.
