If I tier demote to Plat from Diamond, will I still get end of season rewards?

I am currently diamond 4, but if I demote to plat 1 again before end of season, do I still get the rewards for achieving diamond 4 on Season 13 split 2? Or must I CURRENTLY be diamond 4 at end of sea...

@Cro_Pittt This is incorrect. You get the rewards for your highest rank, and get the animated badge if you reach the same rank in both splits

@dSKyNafinchin So a player could reach Diamond for a day, then start throwing on purpose every game because he's going to get Diamond rewards even if he gets demoted?

@Cro_PitttYes that is correct. I believe this is the same system the game has for ranked arenas.

@Cro_PitttThis this is why demotion with no maximum drop is dumb and hasn't helped fix the way rank is played.

  @hayhor Definitely agree. Maybe a 2-tier max for demotion? I don't see any reason why someone that has made it to Pred (even if it's been 6 seasons) should ever be ranked below Diamond
