Apparently, what other companies consider a bannable offense is a slap on the wrist here....

They had their chance to "draw a line in the sand"....if you get caught teaming "xxx" happens, it doesn't matter who you are....

...but, now what. What's stopping him (or anyone else bronze/silver/gold) from doing the same damn thing? Who cares if you get caught....you just get to farm noobs again and pad your stats...

...what about if it's NOT in ranked, just plain duos or normal games. What you gonna do.....no rank to take, gonna take levels off them? Or ban 'em...whoops, you already set your standard. Now you face the "higher ranked player lighter punishment" blowback if you do that....

This was a stupid knee-* non-thought process that EA/Respawning went thru on this one.

@DrenMadre  It's beyond weak in terms of a punishment.  When even the accused is finding the punishment hilarious you know it's had literally no impact.

Will it stop the accused doing this? Probably.

Will it stop everyone else from doing this? Probably not as they've just been given confirmation it's not a bannable offense.
