Interesting Nintendo Switch only lobby observation

I was invited by someone to a Nintendo Switch only lobby, not sure which server it was.  I noticed some things that were different.   I eventually died, but people did not kill me in 1 to 3 hits like in the regular lobbies,  and my shots were registering like they used to pre season 20.  With all Switch players the game felt fair again, and when I died I knew it was because the person had more skill than me and there was no fake flipity crap or a 2 hit kill with a P2020 or one melee punch kill, or something suspicious like in other lobbies.

I'm not sure if this has to do with the way Switch interacts with other systems or if people are more likely to use those cheat boxes on other systems, but it was fun to play something like the pre season 20 apex again.  The only thing I missed were the gun sounds and aim assist from season 19, lol.

I hope Respawn and Panic Button can fix the switch port to make it play better, and if this feedback can help I hope it does.   I hadn't had this much fun in apex since season 19.

    Just as a general heads up, a number of off-topic posts have been removed from this thread.

    Back to your point however @AymCTL, given the technical differences between the various platforms and the more limited connectivity options on Switch, I'm not too surprised to hear there was more parity and an even feeling match when you were only playing against other Switch players.

    Very glad to hear you were able to get into a lobby that's been more enjoyable than your other games recently! Thanks for the feedback.

    @EA_Mako Yeah, I hear the screen resolution for the switch version and the way graphics are rendered are somewhat different for switch, maybe that makes a difference. I'm going to try the game on pc next week when my new desktop arrives, so the comparison should be interesting.

    @AymCTL

    Oh nice, welcome to the Apex PC club and everything that entails haha. At a minimum, it gives you many more options to play around with and tweak settings so that'll be nice for sure.

    May be a bit of (another) learning curve depending on whether you're planning to use kb+m or controller, as in my own personal experience the Switch joycons still feel pretty different to me than more common Xbox/PlayStation thumbsticks.

    Sounds exciting, let us know how it goes!

    @AymCTL as with @EA_Mako I am waiting to hear what you think about PC play.

    There may be a bit of a getting the feel for it so do not get frustrated right away.

    Also glad that some of the others here on the forum and myself were able to provide you with some PC tips.
