Is 3 strikes the best mode ever released for this game?
It's tdm meets BR. You can fight the entire game and still have a crazy end game. Easily the most fun I've had on Apex in awhile.

@shtupurgnamakit I agree the way the badges require every challenge every day was a bad decision. But what do you think of the mode?
@hayhorDoesn't seem that interesting. Seems to me it's primarily a mode for 3-stacking. And I can't get used to limited ammo modes after only having played Control and Mixtape for many seasons.
I get the idea behind it, that they want more than 5 teams to remain beyond ring 2, this just doesn't feel like the way to do it.
Edit: Oh, Mirage's Winter thing is definitely better imo. Hope to see it return this winter. 😌 And the auto shield-regen mode, which I can't remember the name of. Which is why Control used to be so good as that guy who spend a year on Control literally combined the two, and made additional tweaks, like making Lifeline playable and so on. So Control was the best LTM they ever did.
- @CCbathwater I'm shocked that a lifeline main doesn't love the mode. She is the best character in the mode.
As much as I dislike the mode I tried a few games yesterday playing as Conduit on the Olympus map where somehow in one of the games we made it down to the final 2 teams & lost, but the end stats revealed more as to what is wrong with the mode ;3200 damage,16 knocks/down opponents & 2 kills & I admit though the 2 random teammates on this occasion were really good players we had very little to show for it though other than a negative KR for me.Instant revives,a mode that should be renamed 'a 3rd party players paradise', bad loot layout across all maps & bad matchmaking do kind of ruin this mode tbh.Surely it would have been better for the mode to have the same old 'timed revive before eliminated' method instead of downed players languishing around until their teammates are also eliminated.For example I also encountered another match yesterday where I was downed in the storm but instead of either teammate reviving me they left me but when they survived the storm (they had to travel a fair distance) instead of engaging with the enemy they both decided to camp instead for what must have been for about 10 minutes with my downed carcass languishing in the storm with no hope of revival.You've also got other scenarios where you have random teammates who are either just non- compliant & replicate non-moving statues (because they aren't playing),teammates who randomly disconnect & teammates who frankly aren't team players & play more like they are John Rambo & go it alone with no thought in reviving teammates.In essence this isn't really a mode best equipped for the solo queuing players.
- @Redmattgame Getting kills is tough. It is definately a you need to be in the other teams face mode. Did any of your teammates get lots of kills with you getting lost of assists?
Unfortunately the scenario you mention with teammates camping is frustrating and I just leave those games. There are a lot of people not understanding that the only way you are going to get loot is to kill off the other team fully or just die, respawn and regroup.
