does the opposite? not trying to be offensive here, but ARE YOU INSANE? playing the game like this gives you a huge advantage. you can easily target/spot enemies from a distance
Potato'ing the game doesn't suddenly increase your viewing distance. You have the exact same distance, it's just lower quality.
If it did, than changing any graphical setting could be considered the same. It's not like it gives everyone glow skins.
