Is it me or are snipers just bad?

Theyre so useless. Way too hard to hit someone with the shot. Why is there both travel time and drop off on the shot??? It makes it so inconsistent at hitting anyone. And then when you do it does lik...

@RockScorpion384I did 18 damage because that was all the health he had, and he was moving when I hit him.

I have over 600 kills with snipers.

I think my record is 450ish damage with one bullet from a kraber.

@EdwardDLuffy You did 18 damage, redgarless. Thats trash. He was barely moving, walking in a straight line. I wasnt impressed.

Snipers are so awful in this game. It sucks when 50% of the weapons are unusable so every game feels the exact same. Its getting stale. If you dont get the ‘good’ weapons you lose. Its dumb. EVERY weapon should be good. Mozambique should t exist

  thats why no one uses snipers in game? Lol. Face it theyre badly balanced weapons. They should be easier to hit shots with. Theres no reason to have both a drop off and travel time. 1 would suffice. Other games with snipers have 1 or even none of those things. Its just a way to make the guns inconsistent. Instead of allowing people who can aim to get value out of them the devs add artificial difficulties which makes them

  Every game is filled with the same 5-8 weapons because the other 15+ are useless. No one uses mozambique or re45 or p2020 or sentinel or ..... it goes on. If 2 players 1v1, 1 has a r99, the other a p2020 who’s gonna win? And thats why weapon balance is garbage

    @RockScorpion384 I would love it if no one used snipers in this game. I would have died at least 500 times less.

@RockScorpion384 Snipers work great if you know how to use them. I don't think it would be hugely desirable to have a bunch of 1 shot knock snipers in the game. It would make the game just like COD and BFV. You poke your head up any place and you're dead to some camper hiding in some obscure place. They did an LTM with nothing but gold weapons there were krabers all over the place. You could not poke your head up any place without getting knocked. It was a fun LTM but not really something I'd want to see as a staple of the game.

You can easily knock someone with a sniper in this game. I tend to run the Sentinel with a mid range optic or a 2x and use to it crack/break enemies before we push. I typically use them to deny access to an area. If you have a teammate running a sniper they work amazingly well if you call out shots. Knock one enemy than rush the enemy.
