I'm asking this because my friend, on PS4 [Brazil], got something about 500/600 apex coins (don't remember the exact amount) without buying anything.
So i'd like to know if it is possible to win apex coins on loot boxes or something like that.

Strike that. It doesn’t seem like you can get free coins at all. (Unless other people give you money or something)
The battle pass will give you apex coins essentially paying for itself if you play all the way through.
Yeah winning most certainly doesn't award apex coins lol. XD
You'd think so judging by all the pub lobby sweaters though.
If you have purchased the battle pass, at certain levels you get 100 coins and if reach the end level of the battle pass, 110 I think, you will get some spins and shards but can’t remember how much of each.
