Is it true, EA servers are being DDoS attacked?

I have been having trouble playing Apex lately. I wonder is it due to a DDoS attack.

@hhnbbfggty66 I have heard rumors of at least 2 attacks in the last 48 hours. I don’t know if they will verify it, doing so could invite more trouble. Basically someone hears their servers are being attacked they’ll join in...

@DarthValtrex At least one has been confirmed as you can see on the 3rd page of nygmen’s post (dunno if I wrote it correctly) https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion/Code-100-sign-in-issue/td-p/8963313/page/2 EA help confirms at least one DDoS but more than likely 2 or more in 48 hours (this was after first 24)

@Koochi-Q Is that what's been happening? Dang, Respawn is gonna be out here waging a cyberwar in the midst of a plague.
I've been wondering why the servers have been down, I was kind of hoping it was for maintenance or upgrades. Now I know why.
