Is macro allowed in apex?

Everyone knows what steam config is so I am not gonna explain too much here,

So I went to check the rules of Apex and ea user agreement, turns out the EA user agreement did mention it but Apex's rule didn't mention a single word about macro

Steam controller configs (turbo) allow the controller to use macro (by holding down a button the config presses the button thousands of times for you)

And steam controller config is considered a third-party program, and so far I haven't heard a single one got banned because of this.

Makes me wonder is macro allowed in Apex, if not, why haven't they announced anything or done anything on steam controller config.

If macro is allowed on controller then that means I can use it on keyboard&mouse too right?

Is there ever any devs/respawn official response on this topic?
