I've been testing out this over and over again, and every time I drop in, I pick a random supply bin and there's a Mozambique. Or I walk into a random building in Estates an immediately see one, or an Eva-8. I don't think this is random anymore, and even if so, I don't even feel comfortable playing casual pubs anymore due to this reason. We all know dropping in with teams nearby is stressful, but when you KNOW you next supply pick is a Mozambique before you open it, it starts to become a let down. I rarely see the mythical "R-301" even though they claim its out the crafter, it might as well be in there. Sure the Mozie has come in clutch in a few 1v1's, but this is third party city. Let's face it, this gun doesn't cut it against others. Half the time if I find an R-99 I can scare off a team while I revive, but nobody really fears me with a Mozie. I literally get mopped up and dried before the enemy clip is empty. Season 14 better have better supply drop rates or its not looking good.

I have went through countless bins and 3-5 buildings at times and could not find a backpack, any backpack. Other times I drop open first bin, purp shield, flatline and ammo.

I think you're either picking the wrong places to drop to, dropping to late or to early and thus all you can find is the moz..Make sure you drop right around 430M, by the time you leave the ship you'll be at 400M. This will allow you to reach maximum drop velocity over the shortest distance possible, thus you'll land first. From there, opt to land on buildings and/or the blankets on the ground that have loot. Only drop on bins if you absolutely have no choice and make sure you land on at least 3 bins. Bins are big gamble on drop you can't see what you're dropping on, so you can't skip it for something else. That's the best way I can describe it, if you fly over a blanket and all you see is a moz as you dropping, then you know to opt for the cluster of 3-4 bins or to just run inside the building.The moz is not terrible on drop it just takes a ton of practice to make work. There are definitely worse guns you can land on (snipers). I'll take a moz on drop over a sniper every single day.

Is the loot based on time in apex?like:Ring one pool, x% to get this or that.Ring two Y% to get this or thataso.I see quite a few people dropping at a few locations with fixed boxes like the spider cave on storm point that has armors, the mid boxes that have armors in the middle of windmills etc.

Is the Mozambique the only weapon you get on drop or am I just cursed?

Honestly I'd rather find a Longbow than a Mozambique. I literally wiped a squad with a Longbow on drop yesterday. That never happens with the Eva-8 or Moz.

@chgid2207083 I'm ok with a moz on drop, as long as I don't run into a blue/purp shield right away. It can crack and knock a white-shield really quickly. I'm somewhat the opposite of you. I don't want to land on a dang sniper, because I'm not going to hit anything with it, Lmao!

Also, I am cursed too, if that makes you feel any better. I do my best to avoid dropping with other teams, because my loot luck is TERRIBLE. I've had a lot of matches where I search multiple buildings and bins, and sometimes have to go to a 2nd POI just to find a viable loadout at the start

@chgid2207083 Same, man! I love landing on a longbow or sentinel when the drop is contested, even better if there's an HCOG or a 2X next to it. I seldom keep them for very long, but that quickscope dmg on white armor is no joke.

I feel like the times that I am stuck with Mozam2020 is when I drop in a POI with a lot of other squads, and even then the floor and pills end up offering something mid-tier like a PDW. I tend to play a lot more patiently and drop late, which is why I don't have this happen as often.
Consider that loot is gonna be gobbled up as the local population increases, so it might be what you find the most of.
