Typically we see OP things at the start of the season.
Instead of it being a legend, it's a gun this time.
This will probably even out overtime once they've figured out a general place for it to stay in.

@XHelperZ No, we rarely had an op legend at the start of the season. I can only think of Valk, Horizon and Seer. Other were pretty bad usually and they all needed buffs.
And as @BigMacAttack8u said, they buffed a lot the nemesis on purpose so people would stop using R301 and Flatline. Problem is, they overdid it.

Sometimes things have to be a bit extreme to force players to make a change.
Sure this is a tad too OP, I can agree with that, maybe they just want players to try it out a lot.
Depending on the spawnrate on the gun it might also be argued that it's fine, but then again we have the care package for that exact purpose.
