@rockyboy1998No kidding, this might be my worst season since season 1 when I started playing this game. My KD is awful.
@DaDeDimson I think Diamond is one of the big divide in terms of skill.
There are a few points in which skill divides the player populations.
Gold is where about 74% of the player population peaks in terms of their skill limiting their ability to climb ranks.
Platinum is the next big divide, it's where players who are above average but not quite Diamond+ material get stuck. Typically this is where the players who spam crouch and strafe win fights over those who do not. Those who do not spam crouch and strafe tend to get stuck in Platinum.
Diamond is where the top 5% get stuck.
Just because you're stuck in diamond does not mean you're not capable of pushing up into Master ranks. You might be getting stuck because of your teammates or other reasons. If your skill is part of the issue. It's probably not your aim, but more than likely your movement.
When I'm in the top PUBS lobbies, I tend to get melted by Master/Preds who simply move around the buildings better than me. If it's just a shoot out in the open, the fights tend to be decided by who has their ult or who ever shoots first.
The difference between Diamond and Master players tends to be fairly minimal in most instances. But it's just enough for Master rank players to push up into Master ranks.
