Is there an algorithm to keep players the same rank forever?

I can’t for the life of me get past diamond IV, and I swear it gets more difficult every season just to get to diamond. Even on days where I’m moving better, shooting better, and getting more kills, ...

@rockyboy1998No kidding, this might be my worst season since season 1 when I started playing this game. My KD is awful.

    @rockyboy1998 Platinum, every season split I spend probably 80-90% stuck on platinum then I barely squeeze out into getting diamond, only then obviously I lose that rank when the split happens again.
