Is there an algorithm to keep players the same rank forever?

I can’t for the life of me get past diamond IV, and I swear it gets more difficult every season just to get to diamond. Even on days where I’m moving better, shooting better, and getting more kills, ...

@Apyhs Idk if it’s just because there’s more cheaters now than in previous seasons or what, but yeah, it’s more difficult in my mind to get a kill now a days, at least on console, I can’t speak for pc.

Grinded my a** off last season to diamond just to get a dive trail for the first time. At first I felt like I was part of the "elite" for having a dive trail then I started my first S9 game and saw that everyone has the diamond trail as well. LOL. It's not worth it for me.

    I'm Gold 4 but should be below bronze compared to my enemys. like dirt 4 or like what.

    @Cheese9Man Grinding for a dive trail seems quite silly to me. The better you get the better your opponents get until you get to a plateau where you dont want to be as tryhard.

    I'm guessing now even when you play pubs your opponents have tons of trails. This is what I've noticed when I play with friends. 70% or more of the lobbies are diamond or above. It explains why I have brutal days sometimes playing this.

      @hayhor A dive trail and an heirloom are the only things I don't have in the game and it was the only thing to grind in the game last season since I'm lvl 500 and finished the BP quite early. We need more things to grind and level up to in the game other than rank.

        confirm, after season 9 the game got worst and not funny, server continuously have problem of lag, hits not register and another long list, my k/d is half of last season and this is not normal, i have seen an increase of players with trick for no recoil, im locked now in plat 3 and increment 2 point after 8 round and this is ridicolouse....i think this game it is bound to lose a large amount of players as an alternative comes out......this is my point of view
