I completely agree, what's worse the mode is interesting and it's supposed to be a cool holiday event yet all the cool Holiday cosmetics are locked behind cash battle pass owner or not everyone deserves to enjoy an celebrate Halloween in Apex I expected after Iron crown event they would do better but instead of getting a treat we got tricked.
Other games such as seige even do it better by giving away at least two packs and allowing us to earn two more through challenges and to be honest 1/20 chance of getting an item you want is terrible at least if we got 3-4 packs we might all still be encouraged to get a pack or two if we didn't get the item we want instead we gotta hope we don't get a banner pose or charm.
My personal opinion is that heirlooms should not be able to be purchased in any way besides Apex packs lowers the value of the items it's like being handed a unigue rare rock but anyone can get that rock so it's not "that" rare.
