Bottom line up front (BLUF): If you have to ask such a question then it is best not to use such an Item.
You need to re-read the Terms of Service. There is a link in this blog Players/Parents, video game control is in your hands. Account Security 101: | EA Forums - 12556453
If you use actual PS5 stuff I think you should be ok. Stay away from non-official PS5 stuff.
Third party software and hardware are risky.

I would follow the good advice of @Asmodeus556 on this one.
But I will say this. If you were on Xbox you would have the same option plus the option of dozens of non-oem controllers, many of which have paddles, and you lastly you would have the option of the Xbox elite controller, which last I checked had paddles. It's always been a sore point to me. The entire point, imo, of a console ecosystem is that it's a one-design environment. No one has a hardware advantage, no one has a controller advantage. Obviously this is me living in a fantasy world because as long as developers allow players to customize settings in a game then no two players are really on equal footing. But the elite controller always struck me as a pay-to-win option, giving the guy with the money or the lack of judgment required to spend money he doesn't really need to spend... a leg up. How much of a leg? I don't know. I just know the grass is always greener under the other guy's feet. I wish Xbox had never built that **bleep** thing, but I'm sure they made some money off of it, and I'm a shareholder so I guess I made some money off of it too. The gaming gods giveth with one hand and taketh away with the other.
