Is this game really a team based game?

@jokool_aid It is supposed to be a team based game.  And that, really, is where its strength lies if you want to get anywhere.  There are some legends that are designed for good team play (I can't see how you can play Crypto any other way than having your team be aware of what you are doing and acting accordingly).  With the lack of team play I would argue some legends are harder to play or just unviable.  This is unfortunate but just the way it is.  if possible play with a group of friends regularly as I find that much more rewarding.  Some good banter and good times.

Randoms are just that, random and I'm losing patience with them.  I rarely play on my own anymore due to this.  I did for a bit last night and a Loba setup shop (in front of a ****ing door) and as I main Caustic when Loba does her thing I usually lay some gas traps down for protection/early warning if someone gets near while we are using it.  You know... teamplay.  After I dropped the 3 traps and went to use the shop she closed it and ran off.  Seriously, I just spent that time MAKING THEM SAFER instead of just gobbling up loot (I would get 3rd pick in it as everyone would be largely done by the time I've secured the area... that's fine) and it's gone.  I quit the match at that point and stopped playing.  So tired of this type of thing,

The modes are the same too.  I main Caustic, he's useless in Arenas due to the shoot-shoot-shoot nature of the mode.
