Is this Legal ?

@EA_David

@EA_Kent

One thing somebody created smurf account to create content for themself and their channel (20 kills, 4K damage, challenges),

but somebody playing with many other people accounts to get content and get them badges they don't deserved, I think it really crossed the line :

Let me know what do you guys think ?

  • @asukojo So a couple of things. The broad definition of boosting is the unethical practice of inflating a lower ranked players Stats. That could mean logging into their account and playing it for them. Whether or not it violates EA TOS depends how EA defines it and really up to their TOS to make that decision.

    this is just my opinion, but I agree with you. This is some form of boosting. How ever it's not as egregious as the jumping into a round with 20 buddies and letting someone get a 20 bomb, triple triple and so on. Especially when that type of behavior involves innocent randoms who get paired with the booster.

    From there, I know you want feedback from the CM's on this. But tagging really should not be done. If everyone starts tagging them in their threads, they will get overwhelmed with tags. That will make discussions with them in threads they are involved in difficult. In short it makes their jobs much more difficult. It's also against the AHQ rules.

    You can tag me in the threads, I don't mind at all.
  • Badges / boosting has always been against TOS.
    You break multiple rules the most important one account sharing.

    Tbh just saying you are boosting people is not a good idea.
    That's one report more for the TOS Team 🤔
