ppl dont have clue how to be jumpmaster you can ping ur a.. off, and they will still land into 5 sq this is nightmare when you play game solo. And especially on this new map .MAP is unnecessary huge and everybody land in same spots
That would be because the map is unnecessarily huge, most apex players have no interest In playing loot simulator for 2/3rds of the match.
Bad game sense shouldn't be a reportable issue though imho, especially since you can just break away from a JM mid landing.
@MandatoryIDtag Actually wish JM could break off, every game right now I get either get noobs or people who are too lazy, yet complain if I don't hotdrop so they can die in 5 seconds.
There is no need to report people and ban them for being new or poor decision makers.
1. If I am jumpmaster and you don't like where I land, go your own way.
2. If I am not jumpmaster and I don't like following you into the jaws of death, I will go my own way.
Early on in the game last month, on King's Canyon map, I followed the players down to the warp funnel in the sky. It teleports everyone into a tiny room (The Lab) where they are just beating the crap out of each other. We all died before we could pick up any item. Other things I avoid are labeled spots near the start of the ship's path. I recently unlocked Ash and she can see all the death boxes on the map. I was gearing up at Fish Farms, while everyone else was killing each other. By the time I left the area, there was only 2 clusters of death boxes, neatly piled up at the labeled locations, near the start of the ship's path.
If you rotate the camera to the back of the ship, you can watch everyone jumping out and where they are headed. Sometimes my group will be followed by another group. I will tell the team over my mic about it, but they don't seem to care. I will break off and do a 180 back at them and land elsewhere. More often than not, the PUGs I join are wiped out early, and when I tell them "I am coming to get you." they just quit when they turn into a death box.
The majority of my BR wins is with friends who listen to each other over headsets. One of my friends is an addictive looter, we practically have drag him away for the closing ring. On one occasion he ranted at me about not grabbing a blue backpack. I told him, after we placed 3rd, "Sorry it was my fault, that backpack would have won us the match." The other player is a great shooter but I think he gets distracted by silly things. He plays the fool very often and irritates the looter in our group. When we plan it out, we can often win the BR, as long as we are focused. We all agree the goal should be. to get your dailies done and then move on to frivolous activities.
