So on PC in the game you have the option to switch from Mouse and Keyboard to Controller but on Console in game you don't have the option to switch from Controller to Mouse and Keyboard please can someone explain why this is because I really prefer Mouse and Keyboard. Please I can't afford a PC that's why we have a Console and also I don't want to buy something to be able to play with Mouse and Keyboard.
Computers have generally been a bit more universal, being able to support multiple controllers.
Consoles on the other hand, have been a bit limited. Their whole design pretty much has revolved around their controllers.
Now of course there are some variations like VR, Steering wheels and so forth... though the console companies never really went with the idea of a keyboard/mouse combination.
I don't really think it's something that the game itself decides anymore, on console that is, since this is something that has just grown onto the consoles themselves.
So I just think it's like this due to the core design of these platforms.
PC is universal, so pretty much anything can be done there.
Though Console, well, it's a lot harder to allow users to do this if the design of the console has always revolved around the controller.
I do understand that but there is a lot of other games that you can switch from Controller to Mouse and Keyboard ingame like Call of Duty 1 and 2 and then also Fortnite but Apex still nothing and that is just upsetting. I love apex but that is really frustrating.
This is not true at all. Apex specifically states in the TOS it is against the rules to play mouse and keyboard on console.
