Community Admin@DaWiz2015I am definitely not playing Crypto wrong. I play Crypto the way I like to play Crypto and it works for me. I am rank 3rd in the world across all platforms for passive enemy drone scans (using a 3rd party site), and I have more wins in this season than I do in season 1 and 2 combined so I think I know what works best for me.
I also like to take the lead, get my drone into position and by the time my team mates catch up I am ready to go with them, however if the enemy team aren’t fighting they shoot the drone, that’s why sometimes I have to hide (no good standing out in the open) a little bit longer for my team mates to engage.
Sometimes I will circle an enemy team while they try to shoot my drone. This attracts other enemy teams who think this team is fighting. When they start fighting, my team will third party. I also couldn’t do that without hiding.
Even if I am in my drone for only 5 seconds, I still need some cover. On WE I will literally get on my drone behind a rock, doing that on KC just doesn’t feel safe.
