Let me queue solo in ranked

You can go in solo on any match you want just by choosing the "no fill" option in the lobby. Or are we talking about ranked here? If it's ranked then you have to get a way up the ladder before randoms start behaving like something other than children with no impulse control. Not sure where that point would be anymore. It used to be somewhere between silver and gold, but these days everyone has zero recoil and perfect aim and can one clip an enemy from any distance, so there's not a lot of incentive for them to do anything other than hot drop and claim their 20 bomb.

But, yes, very few players seem to grasp that the object of battle royale is that it's a shooter second and a survival mode first. And every time the dev tries to remind them with a ranking system that rewards placement more than kills... they whine like... like children with no impulse control. Because, after all, that's what most of them are.

I just find it frustrating.  I start each season with the intent of giving ranked a go but after a few days I just stop playing it.  I don't have a squad so I queue solo and I am so tired of hot drop, -RP, hot drop, -RP, hot drop, -RP.  So sick of it.  I just quit the last game, ate the penalty and shut it down.  Really not feeling any desire to play it and really don't understand the appeal.  It's always such a poor experience for me.

No, I'm not a great player but common sense helps.  There doesn't seem to be any;  it feels like its a contest to see who can put themselves in danger first and pull off a 1 v 3.  How is this fun exactly?

Lean to be more a team player or switch to call of duty.   

Oh trust me, I am a team player, problem is, I get players that hot drop and suicide charge, all the RP I gain when I get a good team it goes away in 2 or 3 games of hot drops and kamikazes
