Looting Gear ! you doing it wrong !

This isn't exactly wrong or right imo. I honestly feel like where you initially drop depicts if you can just quick loot and engage asap. Some people love to drop in high loot areas and start fighting immediately and then just loot their kills. Some people like to setup a ranged build and require more then someone running around with a wingman and peacekeeper meaning you don't really need much to make these weapons end game useable. doesn't work that way for all weapons. a triple take early game is a better shotgun then a peacekeeper IMO.  meaning everyone has their own preference in every game. 

You can win either way, the problem is you need your whole squad on the same page, cant have one person Loot whoring and 2 engaging or vice versa, that is where the problem is and will always  in Solo Q>
