@izcormvasha The matchmaking is all rng and has nothing to do with skill or stats from my experience. In ranked you play with the 4 badges closest to your ranked.
@AymCTL In ranked its not even the 4 ranks closest to you because I've seen preds and masters with rank bronze but last season pred or master so even rank is not safe even without talking about the smurfs
I'm finding pubs impossible right now. I think it's because all the 'new season newbs' have now dropped out, leaving the diminishing core player base. I'm struggling to maintain a 1 KDR, and indeed over the past three days I've dropped to 0.87.
As for matchmaking ... I won a game with a Wraith yday (not a big feat, everyone else hot dropped and we practically had one fight to win and that was 2 v 1) and at the end she pulled out an 'ALGS QF' holospray. Yeah, like I, with my 0.87 KDR should be in the same lobby as ALGS quarter-finalists.
