Recently due to the insane saving on Black Friday, I decided to buy a whole PC set up and began playing Apex and won about 3 out of 5 matches I played. I gotta say, PC is fun and a bit easier. Than again I go up against players who are also below lvl 30 so that's probably why. Aiming on PC is pretty hard right now so I'm sticking with hipfiring and hoping to get a better mouse so that I can duck and slide mid fight like I do on XBOX. Still gonna play on both as I sunk hours into my XBOX account and don't wanna lose all my progress. Anyone have suggestions on what keys make playing easier? Currently I just switched F from Enemy Ping to Shield Cell for easier access.

Start using low dpi. 400 dpi and 2.2-3.0 game sensitivity. If your not use to it, it will take a while to learn. But once you learn it, it will make a huge difference in your play compared to a controller.fyi: pc gets much harder at higher levels and higher ranked. Enjoy the ride up and learn the low dpi setting on the way because once your into Platinum rank (or playing casual lobby’s with new match system and your skill improves) the games will change drastically for you and it won’t be easy like it is now. Ridiculously high skill cap on PC.

Make sure you turn off your mouse acceleration and pointer precision in windows settings and acceleration in your mouse gaming software (if there's one).For aiming I suggest you start from high to low gradually. low= ~34cm/360, high= ~20cm/360. You need to find your own settings, some people play at 40cm/360 some even at 17cm/360.Lighter mouse is better for FPS, I have to use G502 which is heavy but I play MMORPG games too so this mouse is a good compromise between fps and mmorpgI use F for ping, shift for cell, Hold Shift button for phoenix, on PC you can have better button customization / assigment than console.Also when you try to get out of dead box don't use esc, use inventory button.

I'm enjoying PC mostly because of the RPG and RTS games due to mods and decided to upgrade from a laptop to a full desk in order to get the best out of simple games. I won't be tossing anything away as I was born with console blood and it would be against my religion to do such things. Plus I could use my new monitor to play my XBOX on vs the dusty TV I use to play with, and the control works easy with the PC 🙌 Tbh I thought graphics was just a thing PC players used to justify their whole existence but seeing how much better things look over here when playing Apex, I almost cried 😳

Yea I'm having the same issue, I love being able to move while looting but sometimes I get a brain fart when trying to remember how to exit and end up just trying to walk away from the deathbox which slows me down.

@asukojo If I come across hackers, I'm blaming you for jinxing me.

Not sure where I would change dpi but my game sensitivity does feel a tad bit fast, I play at about a 9-10 (max) on console so I'm getting use to it though, still would like to know as I can only find the basic sensitivity slide bar with no numbers.

@iBlockHead Usually the mouse has software from which you can set the DPI and other things. Not sure if there's a difference between 800 DPI + 1.5 sensitivity and 400 DPI + 3.0 sensitivity. If you have a gaming mouse, make sure you disable the DPI toggle or at least assign it to one button that is hard to access. You don't want to accidentally turn your DPI to 16.000 mid-fight 🙂

nahhh I gave up pc gaming after I was 17 xD. I just like console way more. Good times tho. Who has played Conquer Online around the V2 version when everything was still fun?
