Made the switch to PC, what a difference

nahhh I gave up pc gaming after I was 17 xD. I just like console way more. Good times tho. Who has played Conquer Online around the V2 version when everything was still fun?

I'm enjoying PC mostly because of the RPG and RTS games due to mods and decided to upgrade from a laptop to a full desk in order to get the best out of simple games.

I won't be tossing anything away as I was born with console blood and it would be against my religion to do such things. Plus I could use my new monitor to play my XBOX on vs the dusty TV I use to play with, and the control works easy with the PC 🙌

Tbh I thought graphics was just a thing PC players used to justify their whole existence but seeing how much better things look over here when playing Apex, I almost cried 😳

Make sure you turn off your mouse acceleration and pointer precision in windows settings and acceleration in your mouse gaming software (if there's one).
For aiming I suggest you start from high to low gradually. low= ~34cm/360, high= ~20cm/360. You need to find your own settings, some people play at 40cm/360 some even at 17cm/360.
Lighter mouse is better for FPS, I have to use G502 which is heavy but I play MMORPG games too so this mouse is a good compromise between fps and mmorpg
I use F for ping, shift for cell, Hold Shift button for phoenix, on PC you can have better button customization / assigment than console.
Also when you try to get out of dead box don't use esc, use inventory button.

  noice, wasn’t aware you could hold to use big shield. You just saved me at least two keys/buttons. Thanks, now I must google how 🙂

    go to your user profile folder, it's under saved game folder, local, settings.cfg
    add this line
    bind_held_US_standard "LSHIFT" "use_consumable PHOENIX_KIT" 0
    but it's going to be slower than if you use normal bind (not hold). Also your normal Lshift activation (shield cell in my case) is slower when you assign hold Lshift to an action. It's about 0.3s or less depending on your hands. But it's still faster than moving your finger to other key.
