@Palette24caratsDont you think if Respawn wanted to have fair and balanced matchmaking they would have done it already ?
They changed the matchmaking to something even worse than it was before in 2023 despite advertising it would be "better".
Hard to believe Respawn didnt know about AA being "op" even before most of the Pro Players moved to Controller, but they led it slide until the big storm was brewing after the R5Reloade stats got released.
Ever thought about why most of the OG Devs jumped ship in 2020/21 ? Why should they leave one of the best running Games at that time ?
Inst that a good opportunity to raise your paycheck if your brainchild goes through the roof ?
Or did they have to leave bcs they could not continue with their vision of the game ?
One thing is absolutely certain ... with the people in charge atm (and with that i dont mean the developers ...), nothing will change. That "systematic change" has to come from HR , otherwise the game is doomed.

From what i heard, some made their own studio "Gravity Well" (which doesnt raise your paycheck if you don't have the next "Tetris" at hand) and others just went mostly to Infinity Ward and Epic at the same position they had at Respawn, that also doesnt raise your paycheck much.
So it is still very odd that so many of the OG Devs jumped ship ... might be other reasons to leave that Company.
I just heard they are thinking about doing a solo q season. And I just realized by doing this it would solve 99.5% of the rank smurfing problem...
Think about it, most rank smurfers are doing it to help friends grind and I always tought it should be cheating and not allowed.
That means they could not even do it anymore... so there would be no point in them even loging on their smurf account. That means they maybe would play less hours but we would play more and it could bring players back. It would in my opinion totally level the playing field in terms of skills and rank, nobody could be higher because friends helped them, everyone at a higher rank would have to be a good player for his randoms that would be so much fun we would play a lot more and have more fun gunfights at those higher ranks. That also means we could be matched with Pros and Preds 🙂
Heard today even Hal which never seemed to be on the casual side say solo q is really bad and he understands how there are many solo players and it is not fun and horrible being with randoms against full stacks.
@Palette24caratsWhat would please those playing with friends too: You have 2 game modes for Ranked you can either play the : Solo queue mode where every player is solo q in a trio OR Stacked teams where every team is either a premade duo with a random or premade trio.
That would be great honestly. Now solo q players could grind to their real rank and enjoy the game.
The downside would be that having those 2 modes rank smurfs would still be active to help friends grind. Only solo queue would annihilate the rank smurfs.
So the best would be to try both with and without 2 modes in my opinion.
