Already nerfed the minute they decided "Lets have her passive be limited to a weapon group."
@jaygates879 They nerfed her with her personality and voice.
I look forward to these changes. I started playing Apex in S7, so I came up during Mastiff Legends era as well as being very used to a shotgun being in the CP. I think the PK/Prowler/Kraber CP was very balanced and not as limiting of ground loot choice as those that have come since. I don't favor the Mastiff now anymore, but presumably it'll hit for enough to convince me. It should be at least as strong as it was in S7.
Spitfire on the floor again is going to be a salt mine for sure. Pre-CP Spitfire was more polarizing than just about any other meta since I started. It was never a difficult gun to use in the first place. Sure it doesn't come with a barrel, but you can just find one and put it on.

@Bronsn I just saw the leaked patch notes. They really did hit the spitfire quite hard! I didn't think it would be changed so much from pre-CP. We'll see how it plays out.

Alot of people just hated Maggie from jump.
- @chrisragnar Lol I see what you did there but the reality is that voice and her attitude are horrific. It was annoying as an announcer for a mode and its bad as a character.
She seems to really hate eggs.
