Matchmaking is worse after whatever they did to “fix” it

I can’t play this game with randoms anymore because I never gain RP.  They run from fights, can’t hit shots, don’t play as a team, push by themselves, do no damage before dying and essentially exist just to screw you over.  My randoms last season weren’t bad - this season?  Whatever they did to “fix” matchmaking is giving me nothing but bottom of the barrel.  I did this ranked ladder thing - first games I played with randoms?  ALL NEGATIVE games.  Because randoms are playing a team game solo.  Playing with my friends?  All 150+, 260, 380.  There shouldn’t be that big of a difference between playing with randoms that are presumably the same rank as you vs friends that are the same rank as you.  My KD is 1.18, I’ve reached Diamond the last 4 seasons.  I shouldn’t be getting teammates worse than me.  I shouldn’t be getting teammates leagues better than me.  I don’t think I’m that great at the game that the matchmaking system magically can’t find anyone else on planet earth that plays and has the same or extremely similar stats as me.  So whatever hidden skill bracket their algorithm is using to determine teammates needs to be checked because I’m about ready to stop playing this game entirely like so many other people have because of this same issue.
