SlurrrpMeUpLuigi What exactly do you mean? Is it good? bad? etc.,
Personally, I think that the skill distribution bar just gaslights players as no one on the same team seems to see the same graph, (and where you're placed on the graph doesn't line up with the lobbies you're put in).- SlurrrpMeUpLuigi8 months agoNew Scout
This is bad. Even if this is only an estimate, as you go along to the right, you get more sweatier people.
Imagine this was ranked; this would mean that in one lobby there are silver, gold, plat, diamond, masters and pred players. Knowing that 95% of masters/ preds must ego boost themselves, they will almost always be in a 3 stack, to show how good they are against literal randoms.
The rest of the players are either newbies, casual players, playing for fun players, and quite possibly smurfs.
This is extremely unbalanced - you want to keep that gap/ range as narrow as possible.
I do understand what you're saying, as in the graph is not a true and definite representation, but once again, it is a ''brief'' that we've got for analysing. - ComicBookGuy27278 months agoSeasoned Ace
This is exactly what I was trying to say in a previous post. On the US West this is how almost all my matches are.
Remember, Respawn added this graph as to help us better understand the system and matches MM. They created this to help us understand better. So if you are seeing this, you can bet it is probably someone what accurate. I mean, seriously... we've seen posts for years about ppl complaining that they are silver or bronze or gold being pitted up against diamonds, masters and preds.... for years this complaint has been massive, regular and consistent.
What makes anyone think that this graph is not accurate? It is literally showing you what most have been complaining about for many many seasons now.
So thank you Respawn, although you don't admit it, you finally put something out there proving it.

"the graph is not a true and definite representation"
Why would you assume this? The only thing that would cause the data to be inaccurate is if there were smurfs in the lobby. Now obviously there are smurfs in the lobby. They're in every lobby these days. But that particular graph is already showing you predator level players in the match. So does it really make any difference if there are two predator stacks, or only one plus a "platinum" stack hiding their true skill behind a manipulated mmr? It's a trash match either way. And while your particular position on the graph would be enough to make ME quit out of the game, can you imagine if you were the team at the far left? What kind of message is Respawn sending to those players? "Hey there, scrappy little scrub team! How ya doin' today? Looking forward to a little practice and maybe even some fun here in Apexland? Sure, sure, have we ever got some fun in store today. Except maybe not for you so much, but hey, you have to learn to take your lumps and pick yourself up and try again. That's how you get better! Good luck!" Because bronze vs. predator really is, after all, how you get better. Right? Right? Right? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

An undeniably TRUE statement! Playing against a pred as a bronze is truly a learning opportunity. You engage in a 1v1, pred rushes at you, lasers you under a second, and you should be truly thankful for knowing what happened to you, and understanding how to counter such enemy next time at your current skill level where you can clearly wall jump, super glide, tap strafe, control your gun recoil and do 360 headshots while in air.

That churn churn churn of the types 4 and 5 continues, and it's clearly starting to eat into the type 3s. Last few times I checked in on twitch the streamers were getting put against each OTHER finally. And not liking it...

HAHA, of course they don't like it cuz they will no longer get easy 4k 20bomb badges for their chat to stay and watch.
Most streamers will go offline, shoot in the air to decrease their accuracy and the next stream, they will be put in the bot lobbies and get those ''INSANE'' games that everyone believes in.
