Mirage's ult is awful now
Probably an unpopular opinion but I prefer the old Mirage. His ult is useless now.

His ult is better now! The downside is that he doesn't go invisible, but the upside is that his decoys can actually fool you. I myself spent 20 seconds chasing a Mirage decoy, which wasn't dying bc of hitreg.
As not a Mirage main i think it is more difficult to kill him now than before. Usually until the launch of S5 when i saw a Mirage ult i'd stop shooting and look for footsteps around, because 8/10 times he would reappear behind me. So it was a bit predictable. Now i can't tell which one is the real one so it's a lot more confusing to me. A very good buff tbh.
@aisthebestletter I agree actually lol. His new ult isn't bad per say....it's certainly got it's merits.
I just found the old Ult more to my playstyle....i wish they had just refined it some more instead. 😛
@Cro_Pittt Yup, everyone did that, i used to use it like that sometimes, but reappearing nose to nose with somebody with a pk in hand was way more effective as they would panic lol. Or pop up in front of somebody healing to finish the job. 😛
@CrazyPlays54I don’t think it’s going to fool people for long. It’s fairly easy to pick out the real mirage. The bamboozles are in a uniform pattern and uniform movement, real mirage is not. You get a bit of confusion and can’t waste time. You have to pair it with his tactical..
I think it’s an improvement and it’s definitely more effective in CQC situations.
His biggest improvement was his passive for the revives. Throw a gold backpack on mirage and revive your downed teammate... that has come in clutch for me a few times.he is a fun legend to play in PUBS.
@DarthValtrex If you're a legend that allows it, just put distance between you and mirages ult quickly, if you're not then reposition near a wall or something so he can't attack outside your line of sight.
They'll inevitably shoot at you and give themselves away lol, and if they don't you're still not in a compromised position where you can be ambushed by him. His ults only effective when you're in the middle of that decoy mess. 😛
Like you said it's literally only effective because people aren't used to it...thus it causes a bit of a panic element...remove the panic and the margin for error drops considerably.
