Missing Apex Coins
Purchased and redeemed a code for apex coins off of amazon from the EA seller. Waited 24 hours and opened apex through the EA app. Restarted PC. They have stolen my money and every case they say Amaz...
did you log into the game through the EA app after the 24 hours were over? Just in case, could you try that again now?
I think it’s a matter of EA fixing my account balance at this point. I successfully redeemed the code but the advisors won’t help me with the coins showing up.@Midnight9746 @EA_Pythia
@KurisuK36 I'm wondering if EA support is thinking that the redeemed code was somehow blank, as in it "worked", but nothing was assigned to the code to be redeemed.
When you redeemed the code, did it say it was added to your account? If it was, have you try telling EA support that?
Sadly at this point, it is indeed up to EA to resolve. Amazon can't do anything about a code that's been redeemed.
@EA_David I know you're busy, but are you able to somehow help?
@Midnight9746 First time it went through on the EA site, then an already redeemed prompt, and now the code is outright invalid lmao. But on apex itself the code is valid although I've redeemed it but not getting anything.
@KurisuK36 Yeah, I can see why this is so annoying. I'd be upset too if I had spent $100 and got nothing.
Try contacting EA support again, and have them look into the Apex coins wallet itself. I would try submitting it under https://help.ea.com/en/help-contact-us/?product=apex-legends&topic=missing-purchased-items if you hadn't before. Have them check what the code was for, so they can see that the coins weren't added to your account yet.
Not sure why the website is saying the code is invalid while Apex is not. Might be due to the website already removing the code from the list of unredeemed ones.
now how to get a live chat option again lol. @Midnight9746
@KurisuK36 Right now, it may be missing due to the time of day. Live chat is only available during business hours, (usually I've noticed this to be between 9am CST and 8pm CST, and the day of the week does matter).
You could submit it through the email option, but the live chat would be the best way. In this case, you'll have to contact them again tomorrow.
@KurisuK36 When you do get an agent, you may have to ask for someone else. Sometimes an agent doesn't know a solution to a problem. By asking for someone else, you could hopefully get one that does know. However, do remember to be respectful when asking for another agent.
Outline to them that:
- The code was redeemed for your account on the website
- You saw it was going to be added to your account
- The coins weren't in your account when you had logged in
Have them:
- Look into your Apex coins history, where they can check how coins were earned and spent.
Besides that, the only thing I could think of maybe being the case, is that if your account is linked to multiple platforms, (PC/Consoles), the redeemed coins might of been "added" to the wallet of one of the linked accounts. I know it sounds dumb, but the coins aren't technically in your account until the game prompts you with the "you got <coins>!" message. Even though the wallet on all platforms are shared, (besides through the Switch, its wallet is separate), the balance won't be updated until the platform that has the coins is logged into. I know this because I had bought a legend edition through the Steam store when those were still a thing and had then logged into the game through the EA App. When the game loaded up through the EA App, it had no idea that I had even bought the edition, so I had to launch the game through Steam, and then it was given.

@Midnight9746 Noted. I did reach a supervisor to no progress but I will relay these points to them and see what ground I can cover.
EA help advisors are refusing to even confirm the code I redeemed worked and keep saying Amazon has ro resolve the issue. Help please lol.
“I understand what you're requesting for, but we can't share any information regarding any product codes/keys due to security reasons I highly value your understanding on this. Any purchases from Amazon, you will need to reach out to the appropriate retailer which is their support team. There's not much we can assist with since, as mentioned earlier we can't validate any content that goes missing for things coming from Amazon. I recommending trying to emphasize this with their support team.” lol
Another advisor literally confirmed I redeemed the code but couldn’t take action to fix my wallet this is ridiculous. EA needs to fix this.
One advisor ghosted me and the other gave me the contact Amazon while confirming nothing about my code or wallet status. If Amazon doesnt give replacements or refunds and EA advisors won’t do anything then my money was actually stolen. If I dispute EA will likely close my account. ggs
I am going to ask, probably some very dumb questions here, but hey here it goes:
The Amazon gift card you bought, from where, that is what country did you buy the card?
Is the platform/pc etc located in and registered in the same country you bought the gift card?
Did you try to redeem the card in a different country than it was purchased?
Is the game account registered in the same country as the gift card?
Yup and a link does not clearly answer the questions for me.
Please answer each of the questions clearly and concisely. Otherwise I will assume that the answer to this question "Did you try to redeem the card in a different country than it was purchased?" as a Yes I did try to redeem the card in a different country than it was purchased.
Like I said please answer each question and maybe I might be able to help you or provide a good answer to your problem.
Right now I’m just the middleman messenger for Amazon and EA they point fingers at each other and I still don’t have what I paid for. EA refuses to confirm if the code I redeemed was successful or not.
Another dumb question.
Have you checked the EA account wallet balance?
I do not mean the Apex coins balance just to be clear.
