Missing Exotic Shards in Apex Legends

Dear EA Support,

 

I recently noticed that my Exotic Shards balance in Apex Legends has randomly decreased. I had 40 Exotic Shards, but now my account only shows 30. I did not spend them, and this feels like a breach of your user agreement.

 

I expect this issue to be resolved promptly, and as compensation for the inconvenience, I would like some event packs. If this matter is not addressed, I will strongly consider no longer playing this game and pursuing legal action.

 

I can provide My EA account details and I play on PlayStation. Please investigate and restore my missing shards as soon as possible.

    Heya,

    There was an issue where players would get rewards from the Ultimate+ battle pass despite them only owning the Ultimate version.
    I believe they took away these rewards from users that should not have gotten them, and I believe this does include 10 exotic shards.
    This has not been confirmed officially yet, though other users have also noted they lost 10 Exotic Shards (Some even going into the negatives) and they all seem to have had the same issue of getting those rewards despite them not owning the required Ultimate+ pass.

    If you did not own the Ultimate+ pass then it's quite likely you got Exotic Shards you shouldn't, and those would have been removed from your account as you should not have gotten them.

    Though again, this has yet to be confirmed, so it's best to keep an eye out for an official word.
