More Advantages than m&k on console

Officially i can only find that they allow Hori for PlayStation and Razer Turret for Xbox but also any other cheap M&K of your choosing will work but the supported games are few and Apex Legends is not in the list.

If you can provide a link of an official product or just a mouse keyboard that will work in Apex Legends then say it so we can all use it.

The majority of players in Apex Legends and other games (not in the supported list) are using a controller. If someone is using Xim adapter or any other adapter to trick the console that he's using just a controller to have an advantage with M&K then in my opinion it's cheating.

I don't know why Microsoft/Sony won't ban Xim adapter players this is stupid and unfair to the whole console community.

Maybe they make money this way you never know with companies.

If Microsoft/Sony won't do it then players will do it.

I've already reported one m&k user. I haven't encountered more since launch of Apex but i don't play much these days. Waiting for the new event!

I'm not surprised if they come in forum and say i'm banned i didn't cheat!!! 

Maybe they used adapter and their profile is full of reports. Justice served! Hell yeah ;P

No none of them are banned or considered cheats. There are people with missing fingers after all, and they cannot bann anyone for using a Xim to "cheat" since A it does not infringe the game's software and B it does not auto aim for you and C it bars anyone with disabilities from playing.

I personally would prefer that Respawn would just support MNK on console the way Fortnite has it, but crossplay would probably have to be a thing first.

I personally don't see the use of mk on console as cheating either. Both have pros/*/adv/disadv

There was a post a while back about this as well ...think it got out of hand and locked though.

@DankToliet  I would never call it cheating, but I do call it an "advantage". Your rant did nothing for your cause. I've played FPS PC and console games and the difference between the two is quite noticeable. If you can sit there and say that it is not. You clearly haven't played enough between the two to tell the difference. This goes for anybody trying to get the M&K on the console. It should at least be a separate Lobby for those playing with a controller and those playing with Mouse and keyboard. Seriously, that's like trying to hold a bottle of water (accuracy) with your thumb compared to your whole damn hand.

What he says is true tho. Aiming with mouse is much easier, and aside from that also removed certain shortcomings from a joystick.

Game developers definitely agree with me and @SK-z1cov here, aim assistance is a thing on console for a reason.

having played k/b and ps4 controller on the pc i can say i prefer the ps4 controller, but i see why people would use the k/m combination instead, small sensitivity, and to combat this for fast turn speed they have to move the entire forearm.

else if the wrist moves the mouse then there is no advantage to a k/m setup, the low sensitivity will give you carpal tunnel syndrome.

therefore to get the benefit of k/m your desk and chair have to fit so the forearm can move then the wrist can move to have precise aim.

i prefer the ps4 controller which trades slower turn speed for precision and aim assist which helps me shoot.

the benefit of the ps4 controller is a more comfortable sitting position which can be beneficial to your health.

carpal tunnel syndrome wil be an issue for many  km users who don't sit/elevate/ sensitize properly. But even using controllers will cause posture problems quickly, especially in kids always hunched over staring at their screens. Either way, both are a bit nasty.
