My buddy keeps getting Error code since the update?

His game worked fine the night before the update no problems now he’s getting some error code. I’ve already seen something on the forms about this, but he doesn’t have any of that software mentioned....

    He finally got to work the only way he could get it to work is factory reset his laptop

    Error Code 0x8000002 on Apex Legends | Badware Detected This code mentioned my buddy works on a boat and I told him I’d look into it for him
