My buddy keeps getting Error code since the update?

His game worked fine the night before the update no problems now he’s getting some error code. I’ve already seen something on the forms about this, but he doesn’t have any of that software mentioned....

He finally got to work the only way he could get it to work is factory reset his laptop

If I knew the answer to that I would tell you.

Did your friend recently install other apps? If yes maybe try de-installing them as a process of elimination.

BTW what DX version are they running? If DX11 that may be the problem as it is no longer supported. They would need to run DX12 and if they cannot then they will not be able to play Apex.

He’s uninstalling the game reinstalling it he’s on a boat so he gets back Friday so I’ll see if it’s fixed I told him I’d try to figure something out while he was out at sea
