Mysterious mass bans figured out.
I have reason to believe that EA is going on a ban spree.
either that or EA staff got social engineered into giving access to a foreign agent.
a few weeks ago, my account had suspicious activity where someone was trying to log in. Furthermore, they requested an ownership verification code.
I know for a fact no one can access my email (two factor auth) and that email wasn't opened, yet somehow they got access to my account.
This gets funnier wait.
I immediately contact support and let them know someone is trying to get into my account to no avail, by the time an agent views it, my account is compromised.
anyway, that person goes on to play apex and hack with my account. and get banned. Almost immediately.
I submit many appeals, only to be given vague responses. and finally the cherry on top " they wont be responding" anymore. This is amazing. I have hundreds of hours and two dLcs of apex and coin worth 2 battlepasses. All gone. It was a game I loved. (yes Loved). It got me through covid-19 times.
I tried so hard to wrap my brain around what happened. I don't think I actually got hacked. I think EA is handing out bans to people so that they can force them to get new battlepasses. I legit cannot think of any other reason. It's a money grab.
Hey @hong214080 if out TOS team has denied your appeal then I'm sorry to say but there is nothing that we can do to change this on AHQ.
