I actually have an idea how to "nerf" walls too: Sonic Blaster! Short range weapon with a very wide, circular spread, that can hit enemies through walls. Can use energy ammo and have a loud and long-ish charge up time. Instead of scope it can have a scanner, marking detected enemies for a few seconds. It can blast doors open as well. The damage it does reduces over distance, reaching 0 in 50m.
