On a serious note, yes

@CrazyPlays54I NEVER make alts. Plus, I would provide more details in a post of this nature.
Besides these are more common type of threads on reddit. I am a little surprised it isn't more of an issue on these forums. I mean why is the gaming community putting up with this kind of thing in this day and age. It is a bad omen for gaming.- 6 years ago@GRiPSViGiL I think the problem is the servers, but that may be up to EA.
So I don't know if there is anything Respawn can really do about besides put more servers but still I think that an EA problem.- 6 years ago

And what do you suggest we do? Whine and cry about it continuously on different forums? Cause that's gonna get us right where we want to be real quick like! You play until it gets a makeover. If it doesn't, you either continue playing or just get fed up and play a different game. EZPZ

Players in Africa have to connect to European servers to play. I recently made a friend from Lebanon, and even tho this all way up in the north of Africa bordering on the Mediterranean sea, we couldn't really play cause he would lag out a lot of he plays with someone in north Europe.
- GRiPSViGiL6 years agoSeasoned Ace@Wingmannedbro I get that. ISPs and dark fiber companies have little motivation to build to rural areas or upgrade current offerings when there is little benefit to them. That isn't stopping the big game publishers from doing so.
RIOT built their own dark fiber networks to help their gamers. I mean LoL was the first game I heard of when it came to describing a game that was a global success in terms of competitive gaming. LoL was successful before they built the infrastructure but if I played that game and benefited or even if I didn't benefit from it I would hold them in high regard for doing so.
I think we should come to expect certain standards from this industry because it is a gajillion dollar a year Industry. Fair play and game quality should be of the highest importance.
I mean playing counterstrike 1.6 way back in the day was buttery smooth and hit reg was damn near exact with lower internet speeds and bandwidth. I mean graphically games were not pushing a lot of packets but everyone knew to find their closest local servers or you had a bad time. High ping players knew to compensate for their lag.
Whatever changed that caused developers to cater to higher pings with clientside hitreg was very damaging to what we all knew as players. It is one of those things that has had me contemplating quitting any game with that kind of netcode. Which may be every game at this point, I haven't researched that far yet.
