@MandatoryIDtag I don’t know if he really needs a huge buff. He’s not particularly bad, he just does not offer a ton to the team.
@DarthValtrex For me just buffing his jump pads velocity with a 30% speed boost for 5 seconds on landing would do the job, the arc is too predictable, so at least if you jumped hella fast you'd be harder to hit.
People say "Octane brings nothing to the team" but he does,pressure. If you've ever played with a good Octane you'll know exactly what i mean.
- @MandatoryIDtag I’ve had quite a few good octanes and yeah they help put pressure on squads. But they also get themselves into sticky situations.
- @DarthValtrex Playing as octane people always forget about their positioning. Number of times when i was playing octane i accidentally rushed in with my stim and jump pad really eager to join an ongoing fight.
i soon realised this was a bad idea as both squads decided to turn on me then i was downed, in the midst of the battle.
playing as octane you need to remember pressure, but to also pull back if you start losing to much health and area.
Octane has really good abilities when it comes to getting into battles, (stim and pad) and has things to get him out (stim and pad) but the pad makes you SO openly targeted because everyone turns on you the second you are in the air nice and open.
Octane could use a buff helping him whilst IN the battle; One thing could be he gains reload speed, weapon swap, and aim down to sight speed when he is on the effect of his stim. this could help him so much in a battle, but people could over do it by draining to much of their health just for that.
