I wish I could have liked your post a thousand times. This is a genuinely idiotic mode. It's so bad that it's driven me into ranked, which I despise, but which is better than the train wreck you get when 20% of players have a Kraber and the rest have a charged Sentinel. Who sits around the table and says, "I think what players really want is less weapon choice, less looting, being instakilled, but then instantly respawning so they can get vaporized over and over and over again by the same cheaters and pros. I've said it before and I'll say it again. The 20 bomb badge is no longer adequate when you could probably get it off just a handful of players. Any cheater worth his salt could probably wring 30 or even 40 kills out of a single match as long as the targets just auto respawn. C'mon, Respawn! Cheaters need new goals! Where's their 40 bomb?!?
I really don't know who at Respawn has been supervising the gameplay for several seasons, but since the 20/21 season there have been so many stupid ideas and game modes, as if this person wanted to kill the joy of this game on purpose...
This is no longer Apex Legends. This is a completely different game.
I loved this game and it was the best FPS for me in terms of gameplay and graphics. The only drawback was always matchmaking and cheaters and in these aspects it was enough to refine the game.
Now, apart from the joy of the game, they also killed the character balance. I miss being a real controller, not one that everyone pushes and kills in 2 seconds because that's how we have TTK and balance. It's sad to see this game dying from the inside.
I heard that instead of pulling out of this TTK, they want to look at the Recon group of characters later and give them buffs.
When will this madness end? By strengthening each group of characters separately, it turns out that the previous ones are too weak and need further reinforcements. What is this game trying to achieve? We're supposed to have 20 different passive, tactical and special skills? Is the game supposed to be even more chaotic than it already is? Well done Respawn. EA/Respawn please wake up before it's too late...
