New Patch Notes 20/3/25

Yes, I'm very happy that after buffing another class, this time skirmisher and leaving the assault class buffs, I'll have an even better time playing Caustic. His gas currently destroys everyone and his traps are practically indestructible, making him the best character class at the moment, so it's good that he didn't get any improvements (for those who understand). It must be added that everyone is very afraid of Caustic's gas and going through it is terrifying for anyone.

The game is currently so slow and most characters don't have good movement that Caustic is easily the best in his role.

She can easily control areas because most players are Ash, so she won't easily escape Caustic's gas, which slows her down for a long time.

Caustic can also escape from a difficult area (where there are many enemies chasing him) very easily.

Yes, I think Split 2 will be his best period of play so far. Thank you EA/Respawn for these changes, they really encouraged me to come back to the game.

What I noted from these notes is that mid-season updates are now bigger than new season updates used to be, and new season updates are the size of a phone book, if anyone even remembers what one of those is.

Respawn, if you feel you need to make this many changes to the game to get us through SIX WEEKS then I really have to ask you, is it us you have no faith in or is it yourselves?

No, nothing else stood out to me apart from the fumbling, the backsliding, and the foul stench of desperation.

These class perks stick out to me because I think they should put this into weapon attachments instead.

a green stock should heal health or speed boost etc. otherwise didn't we just have these "Give me" perks of auto-healing advantage last season? 

The only perk system should be when you select the Shield Upgrades imo, in which we have.
