News: Rank Demotion Is Not Happening

Before the actual developer response about the issue, a short context why he needed to even address it. ImperialHal said in a recent twitter thread that he feels that Rank Demotion should be placed...

@pandareno1999 We've had forumers who said their kds were .6 and they make diamond. It blew my mind at the time but if they position well and have the time I guess anythings possible.

@hayhor Well part of the point was that with Crypto you don't have to shoot your gun very much if your team mates are good and you are skilled with the drone, with KP being the same for kills or assists. I really hope he can give me a detail or two with which to find the story.

Diamond is kind of boring so far. Maybe it wouldn’t be so bad since I could drop back to a more interesting rank

@pandareno1999 I remember when I used to play exclusively ranked, on season 4 and 5. My k/d went from 1.3 to almost 0.9, its just such a toxic gameplay sometimes. Luckily I got to get back to my previous k/d along next seasons, but the exclusive ranked play just creates that enviroment, that positioning is the most important thing. You can have 4 kills and still get negative RP xd

And dont even get me to how randoms make rank up way harder
