@Koochi-Qordered the PS5 specifically for Apex cuz I suspect that FPS drop is causing a lot of issues on close encounter so I hope this thing will be performing better.
also noticed the game get slower, animation get slow motion in the lobby but it goes back to normal after restart

But yea, it’s like most other games, when multiple assets are on screen, more cpu is needed so older machines struggle BUT you won’t really notice it on beefier machines. Coming from PS4 pro or Xbox One X you wont notice a thing.
@MandatoryIDtag that is correct, unless you aren’t heavily focussed on lagging/skipping frames.
Yea, there’s a lil bit of advantage, but if you hook up an SSD to your ps4 or xbox one and play the game from that vs someone who has it on HDD there’ll also be an advantage xD.

Less frame skippy... but Apex does a good job covering such stuff up.
Just look at when game is running slomo... it still says 59fps and 30 ping xD. I honestly don’t know if I ever played Apex on non-Xbox One X... if I have, I can’t remember the difference between that and my previous X...Gifting your son previous console definitely shows richness or else you’d sell it... to your son XD! I need to sell my ps4 but too lazy to find a buyer...

- @maximas1986 My plan is to give my son my ps4 too......if I'm ever allowed to buy a ps5.
I am on an original ps4 see huge frame decreases, especially by the bonsai towers area with the huge walls.
