Update: Official Anniversary CE blog post https://www.ea.com/games/apex-legends/news/anniversary-collection-eventConfirmed that the BH mythic skin will be the “heirloom” and no 50% off discount for the rest of the skins.I and a lot of people here are excited and saved up some crafting metals to get heirloom shards for the collection event once you buy all the skins. Unfortunately, that's not the case since the final reward is the Bloodhound prestige skin that you've seen in the trailer. As for the proper collection event in mid-season of S12, it's still post-apocalyptic themed with the Crypto heirloom.Sadness. Just pure sadness. I guess this is great if you're a BH fan? IDK.EA/Respawn could have gotten more money if they have just put the shards. Also...THERE ARE 4 HOLOSPRAYS IN THE COLLECTION EVENT. WHY?!Spoiler (Highlight to read)

Please don’t habitually throw money at this game if you aren’t happy with the content or with the overall direction Apex is going. They literally get away with poor decisions because people continue to drop cash on things they don’t even value that much.

This thread reminds me that I also wonder why I care about ANY skins but gun skins. I only see my gun for the most part. I could reset everyone to a base skin and not tell except on the select screen...

Why is this a problem? The heirloom is not promised every year. I've been waiting for a special skin like the Battle Pass reward to come out, and it's finally here. This is the best collection
