I am not certain how well Apex is going to do this gaming season (3rd and 4th Quarter). This is the time when new games are released and things are just all around more competitive from a business side of things.I’m genuinely surprised that Respawn didn’t prioritize the development of the new map for this season. Surely the pandemic has impacted their ability to work but this development team has always been minimal with content; I feel like people are growing tired of this pace. And then you have a totally fresh FPS BR in Hyperscape being released on Tuesday and it just has me scratching my head— what the heck were they thinking?

@Axs5626Sxa5001 My friend, Have you seen the new Legend though? Also there's been some wicked stuff that's happened with the maps we already have... I've always felt sentimental about certain things; And it's nice being on the same map- but different, each time they destroy/rebuild areas.I just hope that the lighting of our maps will change... If not-! I'm fine still.

Like @DarthValtrex said the new content is pretty cool.Will it keep players entertained for an entire season when such a huge teaser for a new map was dropped in game though?I hope so, but I'm not so sure.

@Axs5626Sxa5001 Just because of one trailer we cannot assume there won't be a new map.- Covid-19 could have affected the development of Olympus so it is not ready yet- Olympus might be canonically linked to a future season where we have Ash as a new Legend (since we know Ash has scores to settle with people from there)- We might get Olympus in Season 6: we can't trust Respawn after Forge- The rocket we see built by Hammond in the trailer could take us to Olympus mid-season or in another trailerWho knows? You can't just assume there won't be a new map because it is not 100% visible in the trailer.

They should stop trying to make a new content, and actually for one fix all the current issue the game has, or they will continue lose huge playerbase and not getting new players.

@Axs5626Sxa5001 Been away for a week and only just seen this . Is this for certain? Really disappointed if it’s true , another whole season stuck on WE and KC is really not great even if they do change a few things...

Yep, honestly I'm going to just mess around in the maps, just use ranked to get objectives done until I get to gold then quit. I think it was a mistake as well on Respawn's part.

@Axs5626Sxa5001 I was hoping for a new map as well. I was satisfied with the changes they did to KC for this season. So depending on what they do with WE it could get interesting. WE is a large map which leaves a lot room for change/modifications.

I'm excited to see the craft a gun option. I'm also excited to see an energy SMG.

We was hoping but they might not planned new map for this season, we might get the new map in mid the season, we might gonna have new freaking content to fix the issues that we have, who knows
Covid was making delays also one of the animator at respawn said " iam working 12 hours in a day" so who knows guys be patient there's also just 12 days until season 6 we might get news about new map
THEY MIGHT SURPRISE US, because jason McCord the producer at respawn said "we are working on season 13 now"

@Axs5626Sxa5001 Well, it's not confirmed that we won't get a new map. Has the s6 released yet? No. I guess we will find out in a few days.
If we don't get a new map, then that would be a major bummer for sure considering we are stuck on the same map for 3 seasons.

They are changing the game up in a lot of other ways I think for this season.
The journey to Psamathe is going to be built over this season and I'm excited to see what happens! Obviously there are going to be some big map changes to Worlds End this season, and i'm sure that the new map will be worth the wait.
Also i'm pretty sure that COVID or no, Olympus was always planned for S7. It also makes sense that we've had 3 revisions for each map so far before the new one comes out. Where they go from there I guess we'll see!

HAHAHAHAHAHAH that is really terrible.
I think I'm done then. This season was already incredibly painfully boring. Was holding out for new map.
Gonna leave Apex til new map, if by the time it's released i remember to come back.
