No warning for trying the flying Rampart glitch? Just immediate permaban??

I heard people said that they got a WARNING for attempting exploit so that they'd stop.

For my case, my friend found out about the flying Rampart glitch a week+ back, insisted on trying it out. I was the party leader so I suppose I got the blunt of the situation....

We found the glitch from various youtubers: kandrydrew, zylbrad, that Season 7.exe video....None of them got any form of punishment...which I suppose it's a bit understandable since....they're content creators but isn't it still unfair?

Anyway, we tried it out, simply flying around with it, i was mostly playing Crypto because I sucked at shooting. My friend did most of the dmg with Rampart but we still didn't achieve anything crazy with it. We got one win out of our crypto/rampart sessions but it was mostly just normal fighting....this whole exploit even put us in greater disadvantage than normal so...

I don't know why i got banned IMMEDIATELY a day or two later, WITHOUT ANY WARNING. I asked around, they said they got a warning but I did not....

So what the hell is up with all this?? I sent a ticket a week ago already, got a response today saying that my ban is deserved...I dunno dude, isn't it ridiculous, why did the people that I found the glitch from not get banned? Why did I not receive any warning, my friend did not get banned considering we were in a party together, etc...this all seems very weird and inconsistent....

I mean, I'd understand my ban if I continued to do it AFTER GETTING A WARNING, but I did not get that, didn't even get a chance to rectify myself...plus, content creators were fine doing it, I thought it's fine, not my fault they supposedly get...special treatment or whatever

@Sprinkah Making a second thread about the same ban will not alter the course of action. You found an exploit and decided to utilize it, even though the Terms of Service agreement you signed when you started playing explicitly states that exploit use is grounds for termination. Why your friend isn't banned is beyond me, but it does not matter in regards to your own ban.

@EryxApexoh cmon, I just wonder about why the bloody hell did I not get a damn warning like the others did...Like, shouldn't I be given at least A CHANCE to rectify myself, me and my friend only went crypto and rampart for several matches but we didn't use the exploit like...EVERY TIME, we did it like 2-3 times but it was just for flying around, seeing how it felt. I get that it was still an exploit but...abusing? It's really far-fetched, most of the fighting we did was just normal gameplay? I'd understand if I got banned AFTER getting a WARNING but I didn't even get that...

Also, I'm just baffled about why content creators not get banned or get any form of punishment, free to spread and make content about exploits like that is beyond me, don't you think this is like...unfair, like at all?

@Sprinkah Don't get me wrong, I agree that you being banned while others go on without any repercussions is unfair, shady, questionable. Unfortunately, most topics on Apex AHQ have those traits in common, so I guess it's a recurring trait to the game itself...

@EryxApex Well at least we can agree on that....still doesn't explain why i did not get a warning like some people I talked to on discord did...Like, no warning at all. I should have gotten a warning, shouldn't I??

Isn't this Respawn/EA's blunder? I know it's partly my fault too but isn't it their responsibility to also carry this whole thing out....consistently? Warning before ban?

@SprinkahDid you try appealing for you ban? You would have to contact TOS team for that.

Well I dunno about TOS team but I did send a ticket under the Manage My Account/ Banned and Suspension category a week+ ago
I finally got response from them today, it said that my ban is...deserved. I'd have agreed if I continued to break the rules AFTER GETTING A WARNING, but again...I did not get one so now I'm wondering if they didn't even give me a chance like the others or something...
I sent another ticket about not getting a warning via email, I hope that I'll get some kind of answer from this...hopefully. All I've gotten so far are pre-written messages (I assume) so I'm not exactly...hopeful.

@Sprinkah And the ban reason was using exploits? I suppose that would be mentioned in the email they sent you.

@EryxApex I dunno dude, maybe that's it but I asked around, some of the people I asked also did the exploit at least twice in a roll. Obviously, warning isn't going to come immediately after you use it...

@BaldWraithSimp well it mentioned I was banned for cheating, and I'm pretty sure exploits and glitches also apply in there, which imo is rather...dumb but hey who am I to argue with the rules set up....I just think i should have gotten a fair warning for what I did...like the people I asked around, that's all. It's not like i was cheating with a 3rd party software or hacks or anything like that so isn't a warning so much to ask? If that's even a thing....I don't even know...
